Do your automatic rising bollards require drainage?
No — the standout feature of these stainless steel automatic bollards is that no drainage is required.
What bollard sizes are available?
Standard model: 168mm diameter, 500mm above ground, 4mm wall thickness.
Heavy-duty model: 219mm diameter, 600mm above ground, 6mm wall thickness.
What types of bollards do you offer?
We offer electric automatic rising bollards (hard-wired), a battery-powered automatic rising bollard, plus fixed and removable stainless steel bollards.
What’s the difference between electric, battery, fixed and removable bollards?
- Electric rising bollard: raises and lowers automatically using mains power and a control panel.
- Battery rising bollard: raises and lowers automatically using a rechargeable battery and charger.
- Fixed bollard: permanently installed and always in place for constant protection.
- Removable bollard: can be removed when you need occasional vehicle access.
Which bollard is best for a driveway?
For regular vehicle access, choose an automatic rising bollard (electric or battery). For permanent protection with no moving parts, a fixed bollard is a simple option. If you need access only sometimes, a removable bollard is a flexible choice.
Do the automatic rising bollards require drainage?
No, the automatic rising bollards are designed so no drainage is required.
Do the automatic bollards have LED lighting?
Yes. The hard-wired electric and battery-powered automatic rising bollards include built-in LED lighting, which can be switched on and off.
Do you provide an installation service?
We do not currently offer an in-house installation service. Most customers use a local builder, landscaper or gate installer to fit their gate. We’re happy to provide general guidance.
Are the remote controls rechargeable?
Yes, the remote controls are rechargeable via USB-C.
Can one remote control more than one bollard?
Yes, the remote supports group control (for example, Group A and Group B), which is useful if you have more than one bollard installed.
Can the rising bollards integrate with gate automation and safety systems?
Yes, they can be integrated with access control, gate automation and safety systems.
Do fixed and removable bollards need power?
No, fixed and removable bollards are manual solutions and do not require power.
