Absolutely love our new gate and it looks fab now it is installed, but correspondence and communication for booking in was 0 until I had chased my delivery over 4 times across 2 months. I placed the order in July and it said on Wickes website it would be delivery in 15 days... our order eventually arrived on September 19th, when I was initially told it would be coming midday on the 18th and again had no phone call or email to actually confirm this on the day.

Kept up to date on delivery. Called on the day with time slot

Quality gates. Great customer service. Delivery service outstanding with possibly the best driver for attention to detail I’ve ever experienced. Well impressed.

If there was a 0 star it would be that .. ordered a gate throught wicks on the 8th Aug to be told today it would be delivered on the 11th September just slightly over the within 15 days .. so cancelled my order . Complete joke of a company

Quicker delivery than quoted. There was a dimensional problem with my gate which was quickly corrected by them with new gate delivery very quickly. Pleased with my aluminium gate which was easy to install.

Had an issue with delivery but it was expertly resolved thank you super service

Fine apart from delivery, I asked for the delivery to be after the 12th June as I was on holiday, I then had driver text wanting to deliver on the 11th which was not possible and because of this I had to wait a further 2weeks for another delivery slot.
Everything turned out fine in the end and the driver was polite, punctual and professional

Nice gate, but complete lack of instructions led to the gate being installed so that the lock doesn’t quite line up with the keep. This means we couldn’t put one of the screws in and there’s a gap. Gate works, but disappointing.

Ordered my pedestrian gate through TP. I'm a DIYer not trade. Although no instructions are supplied they can be downloaded from the site. Simple to install and it really does look nice. Why the 3 stars? The sides of the main gate/door are longer than the bottom, when your parcel gets dropped over the gate it's visible and anyone can put their arm through to steal it. I would recommend the gate be made flush. There's also a gate along the hinge side of the gate that people can look down, this varies on how much you adjust the pivots. Does anyone know, if you fit a lock keep between the upper and lower hinge plates will the gate rub on it when opened?

Nice gates, but poor after sales service - spent nearly £700 on gates and posts but had a delay installing them (which meant we were outside of the 30 day window). Contacted their customer service as we noticed some items were missing and they told me to go and buy them from a local hardware store.

When your spending that kind of money I would have expected them to just post out the missing items.

The quality of the furniture is great and good value.

Ordered some garden furniture that had very slight issues and it was resolved immediately without any hassle.

The customer service is second to none. Wouldn't hesitate to order from here again. Cheers

RMG Provided me with my Aluminium Pedestrian Gate, which my Grandson fitted for me on the 12 Jan 2024.
This gate is such a perfect replacement for the old wooden gate.
Being Aluminium it is maintenance free and will last for a very long
Time. It looks tremendously Smart and has had many complementary comments from Friends, family and neighbours.
This company has also provided a video link for the fitting of the gate, very, very useful indeed.

The gate was delivered free and the Courier, Danny, was so helpful , polite and friendly.

In the event I need another gate on the other side of my property I will definitely recommend and buy it from Ready made Gates Ltd.
