Delivery
We deliver to Mainland UK only, covering England, Scotland and Wales. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, or the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
We offer free UK mainland delivery on all gates.
Gate posts, accessories and gate hardware are delivered free when ordered with a gate. Delivery charges apply when purchased separately.
Estimated lead times from order date are:
- Standard-size garden gates, double driveway gates and posts: 2–3 weeks
- Custom-size or custom colour garden gates, double driveway gates and posts: 4–5 weeks
- Sliding gates: 6–8 weeks
- Automatic bollards: 2–3 weeks
Orders placed after 5pm will be processed on the next working day.
Where possible, we use our own Readymade Gates delivery team rather than third-party couriers, helping to ensure your products are handled carefully and placed where needed at your property. We’ll send you an update as soon as your order has been dispatched.
If an order is placed for an excluded area, we will contact you to cancel and refund it. Any non-refundable transaction or payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund total.

Returns
We offer a 30-day returns policy. You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase, such as your order number or receipt, is required.
To request a return, please email sales@readymadegates.co.uk. Returns must be approved before any items are sent back. Items returned without prior authorisation may be refused.
If a return needs to be collected, we can arrange collection from the original delivery address.
A collection fee may apply for returns of non-faulty items. Refunds are processed once the returned items have been received and inspected.
Non-returnable items
Custom cut-to-size gates, modified size products, and custom colour orders are made to order and cannot be returned or cancelled once production has started.
This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Damaged or faulty items
Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us as soon as possible if your item arrives damaged, has a manufacturing fault, or if you receive an incorrect item.
Please email sales@readymadegates.co.uk with your order number and photos where possible. We will assess the issue and arrange a repair, replacement, or replacement parts as appropriate.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
